How was your Hallowe’en? I went Trick or Treating with my little grandsons, and the weather was posted to be unkind. Dumping rain with heavy winds predicted. I knew it wasn’t going to be fun. But guess what? It stopped raining when we set out. One boy was Harry Potter, glasses and owl, too. The other was a stick figure with neon outlines on his suit. He started doing cartwheels and it was amazing to watch with the body outlines flipping through the night. 🙂

People do amazing things to celebrate. There must have been ten pumpkins carved in this yard, each depicting a different character. By the time we finished our tour to Trick or Treat at each house, it began to rain again, but we were done. Couldn’t have worked out better.
